You want to draw a hairy bear on the tablet. There are lots of pens in the software, and the hair is always like a line of short lines. You change some pens, you switch half-day parameters, or you don’t have the floggy feeling in the picture.

And then you see a brush: the example is just a little animal that you like, and the author shows how. You might want to spend money and save yourself time trying again.

Procreate brought more than 300 brushes of its own, and allowed users to adjust their parameters. Why is her brush still bought?

Because the buyer wants some kind of effect. The software gives a lot of choice, and users still have to spend time looking for, testing, and matching. Lisa does one of those styles first, then shows it in her work. People who like this type of painting look at them and know if they fit themselves.

It really inspired us: you’ve done a lot of work, and people may still be searching for it. Get it into a product that you know how to use, and then show it clearly, and there’s an opportunity to charge for it. The big software plant has already provided tools, and people are still paying for a preferred style, a simple set of usages.
